Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
As you walk out of Kilimanjaro International Airport, your personal Tanzania Specialist guide greets you with a warm smile: “Karibu Tanzania – welcome to Tanzania!” The guide will take you straight to your hotel, where you can relax and immerse yourself in the authentic African atmosphere. The next day, your guide will take you on an exclusive, private safari that lets you travel at your own pace. Enjoy the luxury of your personal safari jeep and take the liberty to stop and observe the animals for as long as you like!
Day 2: Discover Mto Wa Mbu in a Tuktuk
The village of Mto wa Mbu is a green oasis in between dry savannah plains, close to Lake Manyara National Park. A tuktuk can take a maximum of 3 people and a tour by tuktuk allows for maximum flexibility. Tuktuks can pass through small streets and can stop anywhere you like. The tour leads past the village itself, then into the forest and past several farms and plantations. In one or two hours you will stop at a brewery, a local artist and a local school.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park – Luxury Style!
Lake Manyara National Park is the perfect spot for a scenic safari, featuring landscapes that include acacia woodlands, jungle forests, mountain cliffs, and grassy plains. Its rich biodiversity is home to the incredible tree-climbing lions, as well as a variety of other animal species such as baboons, elephants, buffalos, warthogs, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, and many more. Experience this vibrant ecosystem in the lap of luxury as you explore the park in style.
Day 4: Gibb’s Farm Walk & Lunch
Gibb’s Farm offers the timeless rhythm of an African farm and coffee plantation, nestled on the slopes of the Ngorongoro Highlands. Take a peaceful walk around this tranquil sanctuary and witness the harvest of vegetables, coffee roasting, cows being milked, and pigs being fed. The lush vegetable gardens, fruit trees, and herbs inspire the farm’s talented chefs, who will delight you with a mouthwatering lunch. It’s truly a little piece of heaven!
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Luxury Style!
Today, you’ll descend into the breathtaking caldera of the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. Start your game drive early, when the animals are abundant and the crowds are few! As you descend into the crater, you’ll feel a thrill as you take in the sight of clouds hovering above and a variety of animals in the distance. Coyotes, hyenas, buffaloes, wildebeests, gazelles, and many other species roam freely here, and you’re almost guaranteed to spot them all in this stunning natural wonder.
Day 6: Serengeti National Park – Luxury Style (By Plane)
Fly into the breathtakingly beautiful Serengeti National Park, where the ultimate safari experience awaits. Witness the iconic Big Five in all their glory, and during certain months, marvel at the sight of thousands of wildebeests as they make their way through the Great Migration. Even without this spectacle, Serengeti is a big-cat paradise, with prides of lions lounging on kopjes, cheetahs racing through the long, yellow grass, and leopards perched in the trees. You’ll arrive just in time for an unforgettable afternoon game drive, concluding with a stunning sunset.
Day 7: Serengeti National Park – Luxury Style!
Everything you envision for a luxurious safari comes to life in Serengeti National Park.
